This was the first game with rest the Islanders played after their insane 6 games in 9 day stretch and the injuries to Lubo and Boychuk.  Hamonic would then get injured in THIS game.

The neutral zone #s were good in this game as to be expected against a weak Sens team.  That said, the Sens clogged the neutral zone hard, resulting in a 39% carry-in rate for the Isles.  This is surprising considering the Sens track record as a poor defensive team and a sign perhaps that the Isles were not truly well….
